The Lichtblickhof is a place of life for children with serious and life-shortening illnesses, disabilities or traumatic experiences. The team of Lichtblickhofs and the specially trained therapy horses and animals accompany children and their families with the most difficult fates.
Regardless of diagnoses and forecasts, it is possible to create moments of joy and lightness, to come to rest, to experience rays of hope, to feel confidence and cohesion and to gather strength for the tasks that still have to be mastered. A life long.
Research is very important in the field of animal-assisted therapy! We have therefore already carried out a number of research projects and are very pleased that the findings from them are also what we observe in everyday life. Namely, that it works. The Lichtblickhof and his team have already received several awards and honors. We would like to thank all the people who make this possible and who give us strength for our important tasks with their recognition.
