As part of her research project to investigate non-verbal communication between humans and horses using video analysis, Saskia Aust also investigated the research question of how young people go through life strong with horsepower.
The research project took place between September 2013 and January 2014. The research question was: How does interaction with the horse in its e.motion-specific form promote the resilience resources of young people? central. With the help of questionnaires and video analyses, the questions of whether interaction with the horse promotes resilience resources, what role the horse plays in this and what factors are crucial for strengthening the client were examined. 15 young people, their parents and therapists took part in this research project.
