Tamino ❤️🩹
Many children and families know him as a reliable companion. As a horse that listens without needing words. As a horse that carries people – sometimes quite literally, but often in another way. Since the very first days of LichtblickhofTamino is a part of our story. He has accompanied countless children on their journeys, given young people courage, instilled trust, and repeatedly demonstrated how sensitive a horse can be. At the end of May, his own life was suddenly in danger: a severe colic, emergency surgery, hours filled with fear and hope. The veterinarians fought for his life. And even after the operation, there were days of agonizing uncertainty about whether Tamino would survive the major procedure. Today he is back home – for which we are incredibly grateful. But the road to recovery is not yet over. Tamino is in a long rehabilitation phase: he is taken for walks four times a day. Step by step. Day by day. His large scar serves as a reminder of what he has been through. We hope that he will soon be able to do what he loves so much again: be there for children. The treatment and aftercare are incurring high costs for the LichtblickhofIf you would like to support Tamino on his journey back, we would appreciate your help.
Every contribution helps.
For Tamino – for one of the horses that has given strength to so many children 🌈✨
