We have moments that are so quiet – and yet can change so much. Because animals have the power to create something incredibly soft amidst the sickbed, worries, and heavy thoughts – yes, even something light, amidst the heaviness. And for a moment, the sick girl can simply be a child 💛🐰 #lichtblickhof #childrenshospice #childrenshospicevienna #childrenshospicecare #animaltherapy
I'm just a tiny soap bubble 🫧 Lightly carried by the wind. For a brief moment, I get to dance, catch the light, and share a little smile. My time is short. I remind you how delicate and precious life is. How important the moments are when we laugh, marvel, and are simply together ❤️ On this Children's Hospice and Palliative Care Day, I'm thinking of all the children and families who feel this every day: that time isn't something to take for granted and health is an infinitely precious treasure 🌈 That's why I'm dancing through the sky a little bit longer today 🫧 #childrenshospicecare #childrenshospiceaustria #palliative
Not every animal is the same companion. And that's precisely where their special power lies 🐾 Dogs often offer immediate closeness. They bring children into the here and now, bringing movement, joy, and connection. Cats, on the other hand, are quieter. They don't impose themselves—and that's exactly why they often touch us so deeply. Both approach children without prejudice. Not against illness, not against limitations, but simply as people ❤️🌈💫
Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming four wonderful mothers to the event. Lichtblickhof A warm welcome to mothers who use their platform to look. To listen. To share stories that often remain hidden ❤️ Through the stories told by our therapists, they have gained insights into the lives of families with seriously ill children. Into the worries that accompany many mothers every day. Into the strength they summon. Into the love with which they support, accompany, and fight – often far beyond their own limits. And therein lay something incredibly touching: to sense what can emerge when mothers don't overlook other mothers. When compassion becomes visibility. When platform isn't used for volume, but for humanity ✨ Especially on Mother's Day, we want to thank all the women who are there for their children every day – in all the beauty, but also in all the hardship that motherhood sometimes brings.
And we would like to say thank you to those who use their voice to make other families feel:
You are not alone 🌈💝 #togetherwearestrong #mothersday2026
