Cats cannot be persuaded. They don't come because they're supposed to. They don't stay because it's expected of them. When a cat decides to lie down next to a child, jump onto a hospital bed, or snuggle against a hand, it does so of its own free will. Our therapy cats offer their companionship willingly. Tamino leaves his mark on people's hearts ❤️ Many children and families know him as a loyal companion. As a horse who listens without needing words. As a horse who gives courage when life is especially difficult. When Tamino was finally allowed to come home after his severe colic, the joy was indescribable. But his journey isn't over yet. Day after day, he fights his way back, step by step 💪🏼❤️🩹 We were especially touched by how many of you were by his side during this time. With your messages, your thoughts, and your support, you showed that Tamino is not alone – just as he never left countless children alone.
To ensure we can continue providing him with the best possible care, we still rely on your help. The surgery, the days in the clinic, and his intensive aftercare are very expensive.
